My top, in no particular order, would be a list of animes I recommend everybody and would watch again.

 

 

Ghost in The Shell (first move of the franchise)

Ghost in The Shell struck me as a must watch for the immense amount of attention it required, take a wee without pausing and you wont understand shit what is going on. 

It is thrilling and mind tingling and revolving around one question "What makes us human?"

The animations and the depth and details with what this anime is drawn will blow your mind! 

I believe it has around 8.0 rating on imdb which is super high, few movies have reached that high.

Princess Mononoke

Watching this movie I was completely hooked from the beginning, 

I have always loved Ghibly productions and this one was no exception. 

Hayao Myazaki's another masterpiece where it radiates of man vs nature feeling and how destructive force human kind can be, 

but not all of us are the same. 

In this movie spirits of nature and men clash as greed keeps driving us forward, 

in the midst of ignorance and selfishness there are those who try to bring the two together in harmony.

Gintama

Gintama is definetly a must watch for everybody. The crazy shit they do there will warm up your heart and no matter how depressed you were

it will make you laugh and bring smile to your face.

Howl's moving castle

is porbably one of the most memorable movies I have seen.

The world it shows you and emotions you get are simply magnificent!

The story itself speaks of a store assistant who get dragged into a magical world to break a spell a witch has set on her.

It all happens during an era of world war.

Claymore

If you like Attack on Titan or Berserk then Clayore is definetly the next choice for you!

Claymore is something you all should watch, the series are good action filled with mystery.

It talks about struggle between the organization that uses claymores and the yoma who they need to purge.

Basically badass chicks beating the shit out of demons ft. blood, gore and ingestines.

Ending of the series is underachieveing but the manga is just superb!

Berserk

So dark, so nsfw, bloodshed guaranteed. AoT fan? Berserk is for you.

Guts is one mean lad who swings around his Rune 2h with no hilt smashing in everything on his path.

Like Claymore also Berserk has really good manga to follow.

Highschool DxD

Definetly a must watch, S2 is so good laugh, however this is nsfw 

Hyodo Issei is probably one of the best characters I'm yet to see in a comedy related movie or anime.

He is a highschooler kid who wants to get laid and isnt shy about it either.

Most of the time watching this was spent laughing my arse off.

the latest patch of releases I've gone through, now it's just leftovers and time to wait for winter releases.

 

Recommend Shigatsu wi Kimi no Uso, Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis, Amagi Brilliant Park, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu and The Seven Deadly Sins

 

Also worthy mentions would be The Legend of Korra and Gugure! Kokkuri-san.

Good topic tho man, I watch anime and read manga, but not that much tho

lol youll all hate me but my top list is super mainstream lmao.

 

1) dbz i mean i dnt care how mainstream that is it deserves it spent a stupid amount of my childhood watching that.

 

2) this is actually hard im gunna say naruto just because ive been watchin it for the last 10 years weekly lol but thrid place is about the same.

 

3)one peice. took me about 2 months to watch this uptodate  my brother did it in like 3 weeks.... lol he doesnt have a job.

 

4)fairytale.  its good lol all i can say

 

5)sket dance altho i havent watched it since about episode 20 i used to find this hilarious no real story tho every episode is indepentant.

 

honourable mention: deathnote i would rank this higher if there where more episodes this shud have lasted soo much more then 37 eps :(

 

watched a few others but most anime seems to be about school girls lol i prefer fighting themed ones as u can probably tell.
