BCAA Timing?

Recommended Posts

I know this isn't a bodybuilding forum; but I just wanted to hear if anybody knew the best time to take BCAA pills. Just bought them yesterday and starting a stack for summer. It wants me on 2 pills for 3 times daily.

Any comments?

only reason i MIGHT consider taking bcaa's is if for some reason i needed/wanted to train whilst in a fasted state. other than that you've prob wasted your money, just take them whenever it makes no difference.

the tub prob sais pre/post workout, i guess just do that for the literal 0.000000001% difference in performance/recovery.

Hearing way to many different sides of the story. Not sure why you would take it in a fasted state, seeing that it helps in the recovery of muscle fatigue, and also reduces the effects of DOMS.

Edit: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20601741 theres the page if you're looking where I referenced that from.

OP is not gonna make it.

Timing does't matter, gold standard whey has BCAAs and is pretty cheap (tastes good as well).
