Same old England. They did show promise, but Italy was leaning calmly backwards, no real danger aside from the Rooney chance.

Loved the way Italy played first half. Rooney could've levelled the score, but I think it was a deserved win.

He should of had a central role, but there isn't really anyone who could of taken his place.

 

I would have prefered Lambert to come on instead of Lallana as well. We had no heading presence so when we got it down on the wings, we HAD to come inside which was obvious

And we should of done what spain done. Just take risks. Highly doubtful it will come down to goal difference so losing 2-1 is no different to losing 5-1...

England didn't perform that bad. If Rooney had a good day he would've scored those decent oppurtunities. But man, Italy's midfield is just a dream.
