Hacked and booted?

Yesterday morning I asked a guy in irc named [Foe]Bollard to cape for me. I wake up the next day to find out that my password had been changed and I wasn't ranked in #finalownage or able to see Foe member boards so I guess I just lost my account and got booted? Someone please help me out here I can get my account back with recov's hopefully but I want to know how/why I got booted. Thanks.

You should only go to trusted capers. Just because they have a [Foe] tag, it doesn't mean they are trustworthy.
