do u play basketball

I did play, but I'm not good enough to make a big time basketball team lol.

I just wrassstle and do weights, might try muay thai next month.

And restart up your workout log, forget the haters, I was kidding about what I said, I didn't even see the video.

Who would lie about benching 80 lbs lol?

don't get de-motivated when you don't progress quite as fast as you have been. but gj on your first quick gains.

Yeah my noobie gains stopped with the exception of the deadlift. Getting my bench up is tiring and my noob weight gains stopped too. I've been hovering 170 for almost a month or two now. Grrrrr.

Chest & Triceps day.

Had to go to like a hotel gym, so no barbells, just dumb bells, and they're weird.

DB Bench Press (Always in LBS)

50 x 10

60 x 8

70 x 6 I'm probably going to go for 80 next time, but I'll probably ask for a spot.

DB Incline Press

40x10

50x10

60x1 FAIL got it up and it dropped.

50x8

DB Overhead Triceps

25 x 10

40 x 8

60 x 5

25 x 20 burnnnnn

Weight bench dips, ffs I had to put a DB on my quads and it wouldn't hold that well.

BW + 30 x 10

BW + 40 x 10

BW + 40 x 8

Tricep push down (First time I've really done these)

30 x 10

35 x 8

40 x 8

Was an all right session, tried to always go for one more rep.

do chest dips, also ur weight on dumbell bench is that each hand or both dumbells put together?

well he said his bench is like 185lb, so id imagine ea hand lol, quite strong db:bb ratio

Link to comment

yh wouldn't expect it that high on dumbells yet. assumed he only ever did barbell flat.

Yeah it's both hand. So the combined weight max would be 70+70 lbs = 140 lbs.

And that's without a spotter, and no I'm not lying  (n) And that's a good BB to DB ratio? Never knew ..

no, its a good db to bb ratio, different thing lol

explain the ratios for the noobs plz?

well his max bench i think he said was 185lb, and hes repping 70lb db's for 6 reps, which is rly good in comparison.

like, when i maxed 140kg/309lb, i went to db's the week after and managed 40kg/88lb db's for 12 reps... which is kind of shit as i can do 100kg/220lb bb for 12+ reps lol

Kinda like a circuit  me and my friends did lol.

All right day, still leaning towards clueless on what to do with biceps. Limited equipment and such ... Only DB's I own are 15 lbers lol.

End meal: FFS NO PROTEIN SHAKE. 1.5 lbs lasagna, 3 pork chops, 2 bananas.

1.5 lbs lasagna? omfg?

my mommy made it, probably even closer to 2 lbs. soooo gooood.

how many cals/day do you consume

I don't count. I'm on the 4ever slow bulk routine. Eat hard, hit the weights hard, and get results.
