Advice for what to do next? :(

During my Barrows run, my 4-year long stint at 1 defence was moved to 2 :'( :(

How it happened: Was using Red Sallys & Tar as usual, on the defensive setting 'blaze' for Melee brothers. I always switch off when I switch weapons. After Sally, with an Ahrim tunnel, I switched to MSB, and changed to 'Rapid' before I attacked Ahrim. I killed Ahrim, and switched to a DDS to Spec a Bloodworm, but, I was still on Defensive EVEN AFTER switching to Rapid on MSB. I guess it carries over somehow, because on further examination & testing:

DDS (Strength setting) -> MSB (Rapid setting) -> DDS = Strength setting

DDS (Defence setting) -> MSB (Rapid setting) -> DDS = Defensive setting

All in all, the Defence setting carries over through the MSB, even if you switch to Rapid, and eventually got me 2 defence :'(

But, to move on, here are my options. If you have any sympathy please offer your two cents; I'd really appreciate it.

-Stop being a bitch and suck it up and live with 2.

-Get 10 for Black Mask & Slayer benefits

-Get 20 for mystic/initiate

I'm not getting 45.

Thanks :(
