Money talks, doesn't mean they'll have the desire to try...

Speaking of which, just saw us put in a proper team performance to dispatch united. Gotta back it up against Pool on Sunday - although doubt it.

I reckon he'll be gone next summer (2019) though. I think he'll sit around, see how it goes but would have made an agreement if things don't work out, that he can leave (and Arsenal can command a huge fee as he'll be under contract).

PS: Yes I know we are shit and are going to get relegated. Come @ me idiots.

Even with VAR, they're both penalties. As proved by what was said in the studio by Graham Poole and Dermot Gallagher. Kane was offside when Alli passed it, but the rules state "A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball is not considered to have gained an advantage." So, as Lovren deliberately went to kick the ball to clear it - just miss-kicked it - Kane's not deemed offside (hence the discussion). If he had just left it, despite it hitting Winaljdrum (or whatever the fuck it's called), it would have been offside as it was just a deflection and he didn't attempt to play the ball. Second one was soft but still a penalty.

Enjoyable game. Liverpool should have been 2-3 up in the first half - Sanchez and Dier were awful. Second half we showed our fitness and strength and put in a good shift. A game that had a two world class goals and a roller coster of emotions - a draw was probably a fair result. Another great advert for the PL.

Thought you lot were supposed to be good at Wembley? Should have been about 4-0.

Just got back from Turin, what a game.

Thought we were brilliant bar the first 10 minutes. Thought unlike other teams, we didn't crumble when we went 2-0 down. Stayed calm and bossed the rest of the game - getting what we deserved.

Next leg gunna be really tough though. Still think it's only just in our favour.
