Lonnie Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) On June 9...my son was introduced to this world while wife was just 34 weeks pregy...unable to live on his own. He got admitted to the Neo-natal ICU a few hours after being born. He wasn't able to breathe on his own. My wife's Plecenta separated from her uterus and had to have a Emergency c-section. He got sent 90ish miles away from home. I've been in the Ronald McDonald house since the 10th...wife the 11th...since she had to wait to be discharged. The house is ran as a nonprofit organization. The houses are ran by volunteers and donators. They are setup so parents can stay close by their kids. However, life moves on. With this, bills still pile up and you still have to have gas to get around. It doesn't help that I am stuck driving a truck that gets 12ish mpg city and 17ish highway. Thanks to our cars motor seizing up a few weeks ago. I got it worked out to where I can work 3 days a week...and leave wife at the Ronald McDonald house. Gas will be rough...which is the point behind this post. I need help...a lot of FOE members are already aware what happened. Due to extreme desperation..I am posting this. At the bottom of this topic, will be a link to donate to my PayPal. $1 $5...IDC. Anything helps. All money will be used strictly for gas. Any left over...will be donated to the Ronald McDonald house. Unless we risk losing our home or vehicle. Just depends how long he stays and how long wife is forced to be off work. Hate to ask for help from people that I barely know...but I'm desperate and tired of being stressed out. Pictures: When he was first born, before he got sent to bigger hospital.
