Even when they first released it pre-eoc ages ago, I had a tendency to always stick to the standard layout. The good news is, we don't HAVE to use it. But a lot of people will prefer to use this which could keep them more interested in the game or even be more enticing to new players to stick around. Doesn't really feel like just... a Java browser game. Its good for the game, but useless for clanning. They said even mod Jacmobs Pc which is a powerhouse dropped down to 35 cps, so imagine 200 people running around on it.. lagfest.
