PKing with protect prayers?

Sup guys,

 

I have a question. I was active in rs in 2005-2006 and just recently started again in OSR. I have some questions about the style of pking, as I noticed a lot of people keep switching prayer while pking. Is this normal ? I remember getting flamed all over the time back then.

I'm definitely not a fan of "hybrid" pking with prayers. Briddin' used to be without the use of protection prayers. 

And I haven't seen a single vid of someone actually risking something instead of only a dds.

 

Anyone agree ?

Yes it's normal now, There was some degree of honour back then not now, Basically you need 3 Attack styles to even pk in single.

ya everyone brids now with protection prays cause it more of a challenge. i honestly like it cause it gives really good practice for wars in wildy like switching prays ect.

Prayer is effort tbh.. just dont use protects in 1 v 1

i quite enjoy overhead fights, thats what makes the challenge... anyone can k.o a 1 def pure without overheads, atleast when using prayers you have to switch fast to get the k.o... its like taking different armour sets as a main
