Runescape History:

I started playing Rs back in early December 2004. I was ten years old and I found it through Miniclip, some flash game site a friend at school introduced me to.

I was a noob until mid 2006, where a friend of mine asked if I wanted a fight, I accepted not knowing the difference between a low level main and range pure. He killed me and I was jealous but also amazed, I wanted to be the bad ass that he seemed to be.. even though his range level was 53 (lol).

I started asking randoms about pking and they all regrettably told me that I needed to train a 'pure', I was also told about the fansite tip it and got told to go through the forums on there and look for a guide.
I was such a noob to not only Runescape, but the internet in general back then. The forums were a struggle to get through but I learned about boards etc and read through a guide, my dad pondered over me once and helped me save it to my documents.

I always had the guide up, whenever I played runescape and it took me a good couple of months (one to two hours a day) but I reached level 50 range and then persuaded my mother to let me spend my pocket money on my first ever month of Runescape membership.
I quested a little and decided to go out and pk, my bank was a couple of bronze arrows, an msb, a green pure set and a power amulet. SO, here I am, running into the wilderness with the heartbeat of a vibrator when I see some guy that looked exactly like me, but different hair. I attacked him and he then ran from the fight after I ate, calling me a safer. I followed him asking him to teach me what it meant and eventually got my friend to give me some lessons at school the next day.

I pked from February 2007 to December 2007 where I just started getting the hang of the fights, the switching, the terms and what being a pure actually meant.
So they removed the wildy and I never played Runescape again until 2009. I played my main Nossmarine until mid 2009 where I got hacked then banned (bad torrent) after reaching lvl 93 combat. I pked on random private servers, making dds pures and maulers I then played a server (not going to say the full name, only Garza) where I had fun pking for many months non stop. I had a clan on there just for fun and we always camped hills and rogues.
The server closed down and I decided to just play Rs again, quiting in 2010.

I joined 2006scape forums in late 2011 and donated, excited for a remake I was ready to play the game I onced loved that got taken away from me. While I waited, I played servers like Battlescape and Soulsplit because I wanted to pk that badly, it was just fun and even though I had a level 85 Frost Mage with 1600 Arena rating in WoW, runescape pking was the best pvp.

I joined Project Rs06 after it was released and was waiting for them to release quests so I could start training a pure the proper way, then it was February 2013 and Jagex finally listened after six years, LOL.
