Ryt, so basically, what i was wondering was :

1. Would it possible to wire my laptop up to a monitor, say 22 inches or so? If so, what cables would i need?

2. What would i need to buy to make my laptop run quicker/smoother? More RAM?

3. I need a desk which can hold my PvR, two monitors, Xbox and PS3, under a 100 pound budget, obviously there can be two/three platforms to it, but is there any out there in that sort of budget, or would i need to build my own?

4. Is it possible to build a good desktop for under five hundred pound? I'm sick of my laptop, i'd much prefer a desktop.

5. A friend recommended i get a Razer Lycosa keyboard and some other mouse, but the keyboard alone was 58 quid.. do they have some sort of special ability or would i be fine with a basic keyboard/mouse?

Thanks.

Yes, i want to build a fucking computer, from scratch, cos i'm just that intelligent.

No, i thought it'd be obvious what i meant, but apparently not! You basically choose what you want, 'build' it, then they assemble it, ship to you.

Don't think any companies do that.. if so, they're gonna be charging a lot more than if you did it yourself, it's not hard to build a computer following a guide, just do that.

1. It's possible, not sure what wire it is, go to PC world and ask or something, they should have the cord to sell you.

2. More RAM for higher framerate, a better processor to load programs quicker/run more at once, but you can't upgrade your laptop as parts aren't changeable.

3. No idea, google it, sure there's plenty big desks out there.

4. Yeah, you could probably have a desktop with 8GB of RAM and a decent processor for that.

5. They have extra buttons for keybinding on certain games, they're mainly used for RPGs, they're not really much use for anything else. Don't bother.

Ty, guess i'll just buy a monitor/desktop and a basic mouse and keyboard and give my mum the laptop.
