The host of familyradio.com inspired Robert Fitzpatrick’s “The Doomsday Code.” The book claims May 21st will be the final day of life on Earth. More precisely, 6pm. It’s not clear what time zone that falls under. Fitzpatrick bases his prediction on the teachings of Camping, who previously called for the end of the world in 1984. Camping is said to have spent millions on billboards promoting the “event” across the country. Some are pointing to the recent death of Osama Bin Laden, reports of retribution and a NASA observation of an apparent simultaneous eruption on the surface of the sun as recent “signs” the end may be near. Some churches, such as Calvary Bible Church in Milpitas, CA, are offering counseling services for those concerned about a possible end of days.
