has anyone here had a lucid dream.

"A lucid dream is a dream experienced with the dreamer feeling awake, aware of dreaming, and able to control events consciously.

Lucid dreaming is extremely rare. but would be an awesome experience.

I've experienced something alittle different but still as weird its called "Sleep Paralysis" And basicly thats Being awake, and asleep at the same time. (much the same as people who sleep walk) and it was freaky.

If I ever experience Lucid dreaming i'm going to be ecstatic.

I control events in my dreams anyway. I'm Neo.

You know ... Lucid dreaming is AWESOME. But that would be sort of addicting if you could control the events of your dream at any time ..

But .. I have had sleep paralysis and that scared the living shit out of me.

Felt like someone was on top of me holding my body down, but I couldn't move any muscles it was crazy.

Anyone else have this?

Yeah, lucid dreaming takes a while to master, and the effects don't really last long.

Never personally tried it though, every time I have I've fallen asleep actually lol

i used to lucid dream when i was younger, had some fun in my dreams ;P

it helps if you think about what you want to dream about when your falling asleep.

i also experienced this as a kid, it was extremely scary for me. i can remember the first time this happened to me. i was dreaming, though at the time i didnt know i was, in the dream i got up and went to the bathroom as i normally would in the middle of the night, and everything was clear and accurate, everything looked so normal and real, btu when i went back to bed, my covers were moving and this scary head came out, then i was awake, but i tried to get up, but i couldnt and there was a demon head in front of me, i couldnt move at all. then i snapped out of it, cried, told my dad, badabing. i know i expirienced sleep paralysis several more times after this, thought i dont remember them.

recently i havent had any kind of dream, at least that i can remember, for the past year or so.

I've actually been able to somewhat control my ability to have lucid dreams. As you're going to drift off to sleep say, "I will remember my dream" 5 times outloud. I've actually had a wet lucid dream, and that felt 10x better than regular sex.

I've also had sleep paralysis before too. I was dreaming of skating on my back porch like I normally do and it felt so real I was sure it was reality. Then out of nowhere I fell through the ground and there was the weird ass green creature looked kind of like a goblin grabbed my arm and said, "Shh, they're coming". After that I woke up similar to what someone else said and there was my dog that died a few years before that just like floating above me with his body torn apart. Scared the living shit out of me.

I'm not sure if it was sleep paralysis, but when I was younger, I had watched

"Predator" and was playing Spyro before I went to bed, went to bed had a dream

about Sypro getting to the chopper, woke up screaming but didn't really wake up

my eyes were wide open screaming "SPYRO GET TO THE CHOPPER (apparently) and

i woke up as i was saying it with my parents next to me.. wierd. Probs not sleep

paralysis but it might be as you described it somewhat like sleepwalking.

I would love to lucid dream, would be so cool! sounds like Inception though.

Yes during dreams I often intentionally wake myself up because I know its a dream and something bad is happening.
