Env Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I have a DX as well. Unlike shitty iPhones, Android devices are open source which means you already have access to pretty much everything. But there's an app called z4root on the market that will let you root your phone in one click (can take a few minutes though). This allows you to use apps like ShootMe to take screenshots on your phone and Wireless Tether to tether internet for other devices. Also you can use Root Explorer to manage files and get rid of junk apps, but I'd be careful on that because some apps are required for the phone to operate correctly so either read up on it or don't mess with it. Also, you can get the SetCPU app to save battery life and boost performance. Cache Mate helps to speed up your phone and you should get Titanium Backup as well to manage apps and whatnot. EDIT: Apparently they took it off the market.. you can DL the .apk from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833953
