Had never played for a crowd bigger than a couple hundred, but this stadium was packed and going fucking crazy for the home team [not us]. For the state finals, for my hockey team my junior year, we played at the Yale Whale [Yale's hockey rink] and filled up the stands. Our school did a white-out, and so when we took to the ice there was a hockey rink filled with people in white shirts with our logo, going fucking crazy.

d72 Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Yeah, I remember when my brother used to play AAA hockey We went to a small town up north for game 7 of the first round of the playoffs, and the team he faced brought over 750 fans, and eventually they would start fights with our parents turning everything into a huge brawl both on and off the ice. It was fucked. There's no vid, but my brother did get a plaque later on.

It seems like Montreal Fans always seem to fill the stands at any level. I remember my riptide hockey team playing there, and it was ridiculous the fans they brought in for a quarterfinal game of a tournament
