d72 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Well I kind of want to start doing DJ shit in my spare time because I get bored a lot as a student. So, considering I don't know a lot of music songs off of the top of my head, I was wondering if there was somewhere that I could download music in bulk as opposed to finding songs one by one? Also considering I'm on a laptop now and don't have any of my old music/none of the stuff on my iPod is really good to do anything with. I checked Demonoid, but all they have are these superpacks of music from the '80s and shit, which isn't really what I'm looking for. Also went to check Limewire and it's down because of their involvement in a lawsuit, so yeah. '-'
Lip Job Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 You can download 1 hour techno, dnb, hardstyle etc. podcasts from youtube to mix(pandadnb has some I think)
Eric Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 check out podcasts from armen van buren if you want a good idea of good mixes [trance-ey kind of stuff] or just download discography's from artists off torrentz.com personally i'd recommend that you start by remixing other dj's/artists go with someone like Dash Berlin, they have a great sound/vibe and they're music seems pretty easy to remix..
