I'm a little worried about my health...

I'm worried about my heart. The only reason i'm making this topic is because about an hour ago when I was taking a shower I almost passed out. I was just standing in the water and I got this feeling in the left side of my chest that I can't really describe. I got really light headed and ended up having to get out of the shower. After sitting down for a few minutes the feeling in my chest went away and my head went back to normal, but while I was resting and for a few minutes after that I had this dull pain in my left arm. I'm worried about asking to have it checked out because I don't want to cost my parents a small fortune just to look like an idiot when nothing is wrong. You don't have to tell me that this is a strange topic. I already feel stupid by posting this. Any advice would be appreciated.

Great way to make him panic, rofl!

Anyhow, judging by your age it's VERY unlikely that it's a heart attack. It could be a number of different things; High blood pressure shows the same alements as a heart attack, just to name one.

I'd still go to the doc and get it checked out.
