dontdie Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 game play isnt even going to be considered, The mobile release was hyped up to be something that is the same shit on a different screen. When games move to a mobile platform they're looking at it as a business strategy, Even if osrs mobile blows you're gona see how game play is on a computer if you never played. Pretty smart move when you see why they're doing it but to look forward to play this aint something im doing anytime soon lmao.
Preschool Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 pretty cool that they added it. dno if it's going to be good for clanning tho
`Ben Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I don't think it'll be feasible for clanning. A lot of current players will use it to train AFKable skills to supplement their normal PC experience. I had to sit through a presentation about the direction of the gaming industry from a candidate that I interviewed a few months ago (nothing comprehensive but a 10 minute pitch). She seemed to suggest that one of the main reason why many companies are expanding into the mobile domain was for advertisement - as a sort of means to get the name of the game out, rather than an extension of the current game for existing players. People are far more likely to notice and perhaps be enticed by a game if they see others playing the game on their phone on the train/bus or publicly elsewhere (Candy Crush / Angry Bird brand for example), than by TV advertisements. 4
