Asked myself same question about not 0 xp on def.

 

Then I accidentally misclicked on the def part of autocast spell on ancient staff. Butttt I was on that exilent client and it's set to not let me click on any style that gives def xp. 

 

Easy to misclick when your trying to hurry. 1st time I've ever done that...
