So yesterday i spoiled water on my desk and on my laptop...

I turned him off, took the battery out and dryed him clean.

I turned him opsite down for 24h and this morning i turned him on and he worked.

Now after a few mins i realized my sounds werent working so i turned him back off and on and now he wont work anymore.

Is there anything i can do or is it lost?

rn iv put him back opsite down to dry him for another day

If you have an expensive machine or really want to try save it then turn it off, put it in front of a fan and try go out and buy some silica gel bags ( will take moisture out better than anything else ).

for a start you have a 'him' laptop, get a 'her' computer

Put it in rice

Could be some water damage to other components and turning the laptop on with the damage fried them, hard to tell. Probably best to take your laptop to somewhere that can test the compnents

you spilled water on only they keyboard or pretty much everywhere?

With keyboard the first thing you do is unplug the battery and take it apart, then dry the keyboard.

If it got everywhere you do the same thing with your shit. I think what happened is that your speakers weren't completely dry(they are fucked anyways if you spilled water on them) and it is what got you, possible the power button got short circuited.

Since it didn't just die off in the middle of operating you have hope.
