Luke Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 It's that time of the week again boys! No, not your girlfriend's period, that's next week. Kidding. You don't have a girlfriend. It is time for Luke's weekly Divine review!!!!!!!!! Each week Divine will be purchasing a different 6 pack of beer, and I will be be providing my professional review of his review. This week Aaron purchased New Belgium's springtime beer. He drank most of one before taking a power nap, yet when he woke up cotton-mouthed those last few sips strangely tasted like the roommate's special sauce. This beer is better fresh. Now, to get into the guts of this review, the layout is very aesthetic. The description of the beer is sufficient but not over-whelming. I could imagine what the beer could taste like but I was not able to truly taste it while reading. The emphasis on the carbonation and ABV was somewhat informative but ultimately took away from the important factors when drinking a craft brew, such as the origin, ideal temperature, preferred vehicle and the like. All things considered I gave Aaron a B- on vocabulary, B+ on beer choice, and A- on presentation. It was a great beer but the review did not leave me savoring, and for that, I have awarded Divine's weekly beer review a B for the week of April 4th. Please tune in next week for another episode of Luke's Weekly Aaron/Divine Review (please see council boards for Luke's Weekly Trial Warlord Review) Hello everyone! Each week I will be purchasing a different 6 pack of beer and providing my professional review of my purchase. After last weeks failure i decided to go back to my boys at New Belgium and pick up their springtime beer. The beer is a blonde type ale which a lot of you guys should be familiar with. It's loaded with a acidic/citrus/pineapple taste with a tiny bit of a bitter after taste to balance this bitch out. Carbonation is just right so you can easily drink it and the hops are strong but not stupid strong like an IPA. Its definitely an easy drinker with a shit load of taste, crystal clear pour and very well balanced. Just writing this topic makes me want to grab another one. To top it all off this beer has a 5.7% alcohol content that you don't even taste. This shit will creep up on you. My Rating: 10/10 It's offered as a seasonal beer so make sure you pick it up at your local bodega if you are even remotely interested in trying this one out. 3
