Quitting rs/closing foe application.

Hi fam, 

Going to try not to make a big deal out of this, I came along only a few weeks ago so I doubt this will matter much to most of you. But I've decided to quit rs/cancel my foe app and probably go inactive from these forums. I started playing runescape again recently hoping to relive some of the happiness I got out of playing the game when I was younger, and to join foe (which was always one of my goals when I was like 15/16). I seriously looked up to all you guys and thought it'd be cool to finally accomplish that and partake in trips/wars etc. For a while I held off apping though, because I wasn't sure if I could commit to the clan, and whether I'd continue playing runescape. I wasn't sure if one day I'd just decide not to log on, and be done with runescape again. Eventually I sorta caved and just thought screw it, I can do it, app'd and started joining in trips and shit.

 

Truth is though I shouldn't have. Since I started playing runescape again it's consumed way too much of my life, and I have so many other responsibilities I should be prioritising ahead of this game. I'm 22, already on my second chance at university and really need to stop fucking around with inconsequential shit like this. I understand that runescape can (and is by almost all of you) played in moderation, and balanced with other shit. But I'd rather just cut this distraction out of my life and devote my time to other stuff. For almost as long as I can remember I've always had some sort of distraction from shit that actually matters that I get unhealthily obsessed with; Runescape, gambling, gym, league of legends, runescape,

 

I am actually really lucky in real life, I have super good friends, girls are actually interested in me, I'm smart enough to do super well at University. There really is no reason for me to spend so much time on all this other stuff. It's time for me to cut out all of this shit, and actually get obsessed with my real life, rather than always giving it a back seat to random other shit.

 

Hope ya'll understand, here's to hopefully actually growing up.

 

 

P.S I will probably be selling my account on sythe, so if you see me ingame ITS NOT ME. If you're interested in buying it just keep an eye on the pures/skillers section on sythe and you'll see it.

By no means am i trying to suggest that it's dumb to play rs, and i'd hate to think i made anyone else feel guilty for playing. It can be fun as fuck, we fed fi so much dick yesterday it was glorious. I'm just sorta all-in or all-out, i think i have an addictive personality.
