Meaning & Player History
Regardless of who you are or where you came from you're now registered on Final Ownage Elite's forums. Now whether you're a member, an applicant or even a guest you came here for a reason. There is no doubt that Runescape has changed from when we all started playing regardless of when you joined updates have changed the game. The days of RS of when you could sit there and let your RSBuddy bot run for hours on end without worrying about a ban is over. The time to be dedicated and grind is here, if you're here just to settle for a proud member rank and stick with the bare minimum stats after being promoted from an Applicant rank I don't think you're contributing enough to call yourself a member of Final Ownage Elite. I shouldn't have to repeat everything that @@Adhi has already mentioned, but incase you need a reminder why FOE is here again please take a look. Legends Never Die. Yes, FOE closed go ahead complain or say what you want about some of us giving up on a game that we all once loved. Now look we're opened again and we don't settle to just be satisfied to have a large community member base or large pulls on weekend trips. Yes that is great if we can pull 90% of our members on big trips, but that doesn't mean that is the only time you are active on TeamSpeak, IRC, CC or even the forums. @@Walli addresses it quite well along with plenty of other members of this clan, but we want Quality over Quantity. It doesn't matter if you're only gaining 100K strength experience a day while you're doing homework or in between the gym, but you can't just be satisfied with the minimum of requirements you get maxed or you keep working towards it. Being a part of Foe means you're representing something more than just a Clan as we are community and it does have a meaning.
The Recap
Chances are if you're reading this topic you could read this topic also I posted when I first started grinding to rejoin Foe.
The Age We Play In
Chances are everyone has read or heard @@Walli rant about defense and prayer and how one contributes to this clan. I think a lot of the community lately is set on the stereotype that the higher combat the more value you bring to this community & clan, but it is not the same game some of us played even if you played in the real 2007 decade or if you played in Pre-Eoc. There were times that being a maxed pure merely met you had dedication to the game & enjoyed playing. Although there were also times that it merely meant you knew how to setup a bot and let Jagex ignore you while you maxed out and sold bills. The point is at this point where Foe is it isn’t like another time in the past the game has changed people have changed and leadership has changed. The community can continue to complain and bitch all they want about the defence cap that we have now compared to what he had then, but if we’re not smashing everyone on their highest pulling days when we’re down 20 members the defence literally doesn’t change the fact that Foe wouldn’t & shouldn’t be considered the number one P2P & F2P clan.
Community & Accounts
It comes down to it is your own account and your own time you're putting into your account. Having higher prayer for a sexy cape is a huge accolade to have and show off, but it doesn't mean you bring anything more to the table then someone who could be a maxed 60 attack build. So before you start getting 25 defence thinking that you shouldn't be sitting in preps why not just finish the small things in your account? Hell we are playing in an age where everyone is spalshing for mage so if you're maxed and still sitting at 94 mage just splash at night get a little xp each night, but don't stop putting effort in thinking that you're now all set to just half ass preps and trips. The other thing is stop bashing everyone in the community for the choices they make on their account. The community should be involved more when it comes to changes in the clan and or rules with the clan not just leadership, but involve members to get a say in what is happening.
Something New & Fun
Quit the bitching.
So what we're not getting Preps because the other clans are afraid of us that doesn't mean you can do something new with the clan and members. Inners, yeah it's nice practice for the clan, but it isn't always the most fun. So quit bitching and change things up, have mini tournaments within the clan like their own 10v10 minis against other Foe Members with a tournament bracket so on so on. Allow some freedom between newer ranks and elder ranks that can contribute to the clan, pitch new ideas to other clans do a clan stake (Every member contributes 100K & Get the other clan to match it) continue as you would as if it was another prep merely for the fun for trying something new. You can't keep playing the game like you did in pre-eoc the game is not the same. Personally I agree with @@Walli and the rant he had about defence and prayer, but that is my opinion and I'll stay 1 defence or 13 defence merely because I want to slay or I'll have 99 prayer because it is a trophy on my account.
