Clan Update

I was reading a reddit post several days about the possible changes to the clan scene, and how Jagex should incorporate minigames like Soul Wars & Castle Wars as part of the clanning system (can't find the post). If you really think about, almost every other competitive game has objective based competitive selections; capture the flag, oddball, zombies, etc. However, we as a community restrict ourselves to only the wilderness and clan wars related content because of security issues, as anyone can join these games outside of clan members.

 

In all honesty, if Jagex made it so clans can predetermine the players of each minigame like castle wars & soul wars (maybe even make them dangerous in regards items dropped on death), I think that would be a very interesting update for the pure community; even more if there was a monthly / yearly scoreboard.

bh craters are the reason why half of runescape and myself quit..it's never been active the same since..if they brought that bs back all it would do is divide activety

Bh crater or red port for clan wars. They had amazing opportunities to build on both. Jagex is terrible at updates for clanning, more specifically, anything related to the pure scene.

Jagex doesn't look at PvP as a source of revenue despite all the PvP tournaments being their most viewed content. Doubt they will look at it with serious changes in mind, and will keep giving what starved pvpers are left little crumbs to hold us onto the game as long as they can.

Hmm doubt it'll happen as castle wars has always been a safe area and none other than pkers would like it. Don't rlly like the idea of soul wars either specially if it similar to the old one where u got bunch of soul wars prods.
